The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 714

Well, I knew I would be saying this about many of the sub-categories I have created during this post as we near the end of G.O’s service: This is my last Fan-ART-astic post! I cannot believe that I am literally approaching the final day of this countdown series. I know I have often stated during these past 714 days that the time has gone by quickly and for the most part, it has. But I am not going to deny it, it has been a long, long journey. Still, the time spent writing about this talented and darling young man has been a privilege. It is too early to get all weepy!!! So, let’s have a look at my final Fan-ART-astic offering. I decided to close this sub-category with one of my fave artists, SakuTori. She has drawn G.O often and has drawn him well. Because I saw him for the very first time as Dong Ho in the musical Seopyeonje, it is my SakuTori choice for the day.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 693

My fan art choice today comes from a US artist who goes by the name NamiiChan. Yay! She started out just drawing manga but eventually moved to digital painting. She is also into 3D origami and nail art. Creative people fascinate and inspire me. Today I would like to share her rendition of G.O’s intensity as captured during Blaq Style days.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 662

I am not ashamed to admit that I envy those who can draw. That envy is never more greener than when I see G.O fan art because I know if I could draw, I would probably be spending many hours of my free time hunched over a sketchbook or canvas drawing his likeness. I have often said that G.O is a wonderful work of art all unto himself. His physical features are flawless and lend themselves well to an artist’s pen, pencil or paintbrush. Today’s fan art is compliments of a Russian artist by the name of Julia whose gorgeous rendition of G.O is a perfect example of why I believe he is an artist’s perfect model.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 633

Today’s Fan-ART-astic moment comes courtesy of one my fave fan art artists, Woorugo. I did not realize Woorugo created a rendition of G.O from his appearance on King of Mask Singer so when I first saw it, I was floored and flooded with emotion. Then again, Woorugo’s art always hits me straight in the heart.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 602

If I were to drop G.O into a cosmic futuristic fantasy comic book, manga or anime where his intergalactic powers included subduing you with a single glance, I would envision him to look as rendered in the piece of fan art I share today.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 573

I have been looking forward to sharing the fan art work of Japanese artist @cantnoir827 ever since I started this little sub-category on the Countdown. I know most, if not all A+ worldwide, have enjoyed her whimsical and playful renditions of MBLAQ over the years. Today I choose her take on G.O’s three musical theater roles: Kang Hyun Woo from Gwanghwamun Sonata, Dong Ho from Seopyeonje and Prince Ho Dong from Kingdom of the Winds.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 563

Yes, it is time for another One Shot and today, it comes in .GIF form. Even though I have not yet written about G.O’s participation in the SBS Gayo Daejeon’s Colors of K-Pop, I cannot resist sharing this behind-scenes-moment .gif where in a few short seconds we experience G.O’s soulful gaze followed by radiant smile. It is exactly what my heart desires at this very moment. And once you see it, you will realize you probably desire it as well.
