There is no remedy to help calm the fluttering of the heart, the emotional overload and cacophony of feels I experience when G.O sings in English. Of course, I love when he sings in Korean. Well, I just love when he sings. Period. And yes, Korean may be the language he speaks, but I think it is music that is the language of his heart.
It is true that music will always be a language that bridges the gap of understanding, a vibrational language that need not be understood in word when conveyed with honest, pure and passionate emotion. Nevertheless, Seung Ho, G.O and Cheondung’s offering of Maroon 5’s This Love (in English) on 아이콘 [Icons] was nothing short of heart-stopping.
First of all, how G.O managed to take the stage looking like that without being arrested for slaying every fangirl in the audience is beyond me. Seriously, the only person, thing or otherwise that can compete with G.O’s outer beauty is his own inner beauty. When I look at G.O, I am ready to aggressively debate who truly is MBLAQ’s visual for the group (past or present)!!! Then again, I am rather biased. Still….look at him!! He is the very definition of classically handsome.
The Icon show was iconic because the men of MBLAQ performed their soulful R&B classic Cry with a live band. The focus of this post which I am placing under the Fan-Camming category however, is the trilogy of Seung Ho, G.O and Cheondung’s performance of Maroon 5’s This Love with a special fan-cam focus on G.O.
My pressure on your hips
Sinking my fingertips
Into every inch of you
‘Cause I know that’s what you want me to do
I think I should graciously end this post right here.
But wait….I will end with this final thought because I like to throw the universe some ideas and hope it is listening. When I see the 87-Line work exclusively together (as in this instance) I get all kinds of visions of the two of them writing, producing and starring in their own musical. With Seung Ho recently cast in the musical 사랑은 비를 타고 [Love In The Rain], both he and G.O will have had substantial experience with the genre. With their collective talent, composing skills and life experiences, I would hope a musical producer would explore this with the two of them upon their military discharges.
Universe, ya feeling me?!!!
